Interesting... I just overlaid the injen and CAI curves from the JRE test and they are almost the same! The Airaid is higher than injen/CAI up to about 4000-4500 rpm, then, the injen takes over.
from what I posted (which I got from the JRE testing on C5) the Airaid does lead under 3500-3700, then the Injen and Airad run together pretty close up until about 5K, the CAI is lower, then after 5K the Injen leads higher than the other two.... for me, I felt that I would get more out of the lower end gains, hence going with the airaid
i don't think you can really pick a bad one between those anyway.
I personally like the Airaid, but it's the only one I have had. You def. feel a difference in the lower RPM range. Acceleration is much smoother through the first 3500 RPM than with the stock box.

I went with Volant, leaps and bounds better than stock, and they use an oil-less donaldson filter, but unable to compare to other CAI and volant dosnt participate in the offical testing, HUGE NEGATIVE- PAIN IN THE TUCHUS TO INSTALL, no instructions.
Looks like the V6 Vanaram intake has been tested by an independent shop and is giving great gains (almost 26 hp and 17 ft lbs). Numbers here (C5 post).
Vanaram says, "we should have it in retail production extremely soon".
I am curious to see what they did/will do to keep water out.
