No 5th Gens there, but four 4th Gens. There was a cool race car that came off a trailer -- sounded really nice & loud...
They have music when its nice out and the Double K people show up. Also on a nice night they get 100+ cars so don't be so quick to judge the show on a such a questionable night.

Yeah, I've got to see your cover. The pics I've been looking at look pretty tight.

Any day rain is threatening, let alone it did sprinkle a couple times the crowd is automatically not gonna be present and I don't even think the RM Cruisers who put the show on even showed up. Go on a nice clear day when everyone is there and I'm sure you'll change you opinion. When the show was at Meijer it was even better.

Rolling Meadows Cruisers put this show together I don't think Double K has anything to do with it.

I like this S. Elgin Cruise Night better than Rolling Ghettos -- nicer plaza (looks brand new), cool McD, and a good turnout -- chatted with a guy with a '78 Z/28 Camaro (which he built from parts and completely refinished the paint and rebuilt the engine himself, selling for $25k), a '98 SS ex-marine guy -- pretty cool -- nice to compare notes on upgrades, and Tony about all kinds of 5th Gen & Camaro stuff...

I would definitely recommend this show.

Is the S. Elgin Cruise Night only in the McD's parking lot?

The McD lot was full when I got there, but it is all around that surrounding area.

Haven't been to RM any other night since yrs ago...

Attached is a pic of the low-riders last night -- 6 & 8 batteries in the trunks of these things to power the lifters on all four wheels! A talent scout for movies that is working with the Transformers movie was there asking these guys to be in some movies with their cars!
