Well, I'm headed over to Sears to pick up my new 4 drawer ball bearing lower chest. But I am going to take the Grand Marquis and see how she is doing.
Friday I blew up the intake manifold and had to have it replaced. She seems to be A-ok now.
When I get back I guess I will do some spring cleaning in the garage.
T.The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I had too high of expectations I guess, really wanted a time that started with a 12. Best run was 13.10 @106mph with a 1.95 60. Dan and Mike had to console me at the softball game, they didn't want their ace going to the mound feeling down on himself. The only solace I had was that I didn't see a single 12 second pass by any car, and other than a 911, I had some of the best times of the night (including a couple challengers and a lot of stangs-but no 5.0s)
