  • New jack for the garage

I just picked up my new Maxjax portable twin post lift for the garage.
I'm getting to old to be sliding around on a creeper.lol

My sons Canyon was the Guinea Pig for the first lift. Couldn't risk the Camaro.
    All went well.

This would be nice. My wash, seal, wax job last year nearly killed my back. Getting the car raised would be a real advantage.

I need to know more about this. I have to run mine up on two 2x4's just to be able to get a low profile jack under the car.

          Check out this link http://www.dannmar.com/dannmar-produ...fts/maxjax.asp

It will lift 6000 lbs 45 inches. Bolts to threaded inserts (weg it brand) installed in the concrete. When not in use you unbolt it and store the posts . I will be installing anchors in the garage and one set in the driveway.
I got mine at Menards. It listed for 2499.00 but Menards will price match. I found it on sale online at Costco for 1999.00. I also had about 1600.00 in Menards rebates so I ended up at about 600.00 out of pocket.

Do they offer some kind of plug/seal for when the lifts are not in place? I'd be afraid of snow/ice in there in the winter.

I've got 1 inch long nylon set screws that fill the hole when not in use. They are allen head so they will sit flush with surface.
