x pipe?

are new x pipes really useful in any way? i currently have the mrt v1 mufflers on my camaro and i love them but i know many people do resonator deletes or x pipes either/or. will either of these make the exhaust have more of an unwanted drone?

a regular x pipe may tone down the sound just a bit, but likely not drone. the resonated x-pipe should cut drone a good amount.

I have LT headers, the MRT 2, and a resonated x-pipe. It was absolutely necessary to tone it down, for my taste. Much too raspy without it.
