Summer or All-Season?

Do any of you who garage your car in the winter also use all-season tires during the warmer months?

It's time to replace my Pirellis (once again ) and I want something that is going to last longer than 20k-25k miles this time. Been looking at BF Goodrich G-Force Comp-2 ultra high performance all-seasons but not sure if that's the right way to go or not.

Or should I just stick with summer tires since I don't drive the Camaro in the winter anyway?

You already know the answer and are looking for someone to justify the expense? LOL
You do alot of spirited driving my friend. I think you would be unhappy in the handling unless you stuck with summer performance tires. These are one of the things you have to decide before you buy this thing in the SS model in my opinion. There is a certain amount of annual cost to owning a muscle car and wanting to drive it like a muscle car.
I have pulled the last two sets of tires off at 18k and told myself this is what I signed up for.

I totally agree with Bill. If you're getting 20,000 miles out of a set of tires and like the performance of them, done.
I'll be surprised to get 10,000 miles.

Xello, ride is another thing to think about. I have found the softer compound summer tires ride better as well. That's worth alot to me.

Out of laziness last summer I left my DWS's on until mid-summer and definitely notice the lack of traction compared to the pirellis.

Okay. My arm has been twisted. I'll stick with summer tires (no pun intended). Was mostly hoping to get a few more miles out of the tires. I'll give Garrett a call and see if he has any recommendations for a Pirelli replacement.
Update: Was recommended to stay with the Pirellis so new shoes coming soon.

Garrett is the man! Pirelli's or Michelin PSS's are the way to go IMO. I was happy with my Nitto's too.
