    • So did anyone find out if that particular track is ok with motorcycle helmets? I would like to know for future reference.

        Generally yes they are. The normal guy that does tech in doesn't even look at the helmets. He just makes sure you have one.

                No news yet. Probably will be a couple of days for them to get in in the queue with the right tech. I'm anxious to hear.....

                    Incorrect statement. GLD has been cracking down on tech this year. Been there 8 or 9 times already this season. Every time my helmet was inspected to assure it was Snell approved and up to date. The car was also examined thoroughly as well.

                        I have been 3 times in the past month with my camaro. And about 5 or 6 times with jeep customers of mine with ZERO issues. So out of 8 or 9 trips to the track this year, haven't had a single helmet looked at.

                        Only scruff they gave was wearing pants.

                        • Guess your lucky then. My car always gets thoroughly checked out but maybe that's because you barely need to do anything to a corvette to put it in the 10s

                            That's not just me. It's usually at least 4-5 people everytime I go. Could be because they are familiar with me as I am there almost once a week. But even my car and a couple 10 second jeeps don't get grief.

                            • True story. Ran a high 10 with just bolt ons and then my trans let go. Have had nothing but tuning problems since I put the new transmission in so I decided to buy hp tuners and do it myself.
