sorry i was typing fast while at work haha i updated the first post with some info

Its a 1/2 mile drag race event on an airport runway. The main focus is to see what type of MPH you can run basically. A really good event for speed freaks for sure. I am hoping to hit over 160mph this year.

Hmm, $200....will have to think about it. Any idea how many passes you may end up getting? Is there a rain date?

Rain date is usually a week later. And I saw people get 5-6 passes. But it's gonna be more popular this year so I have no clue

This is an awesome event!! Dave and I went and watched it last year, there was a hearse going faster than a lot of the cars!! This would make a great picnic event for us down south here, just an idea

Sure, once you do a Jeep, a hearse makes sense. I think a Winnebago may be next.

That hearse runs a 9.90 quarter mile. It is pretty awesome.

I did this last year and wouldn't recommend it again for the price. Between 7 am and 1 I got in 2 passes. You don't get any ETs , only your ending mph. Now, I did see a lot of really cool cars, but that didn't help justify $200.
