Throttle Modulation.. Keeps the brake wear down.. Or, just don't go to Road America a lot.

You could probably get an event or two our of Autobahn with the same pads, depending on how long you were there and how hard you drove.

You can get good lines and rotors for a reasonable price if you hunt close-outs and sales (which are coming up with the end of track season)... The only thing you'd really be sinking money on is the good pads and if you look around, you can find them.

If i go for my first time i will be running with low boost too. i was thinking about getting a set of race only pads too to help prolong life. Trying to slow my 4000lb pig from 135+ to 0 is going to take a toll at the dragstrip too. So if i have track only tires and pads i should be able to get much better life all around.

I'm running my 4 event at RA & my 7th or 8th or something on the same carbotechs & DBA 4000 that I daily drive... Still have plenty of pad and rotor left!

I'm in the club and totally LOVE it. Been to many tracks.
This is a very friendly club and a great group of people. Tons of tracktime.

We had a blast !!!, met some very nice people and can't wait to do it next year a few times.
I have video's and pictures that I will post. But as we all know the Holidays are coming so stay tuned. Got alot to do the next few months, but I will get to it.

Just stored the car for the winter this past weekend, so that is one less thing on my to-do list.
