my BEST time was a 14.99.....

Was easin out in 1st, rolling into 2nd, and 3rd, and still felt like I was on ice. Had to shut it down every time down the track.

Time to make a donation to discount tire.

Silver linings... I guess that means that was only running a half-second slower than before.

at least i was still able to run a low 12 while ice skating No threat at all!!!

          totally JK.

The tracks were horrible, even with a healthy burnout and low pressure i was spinning off the line and feathering it in low gears. I think i should check out no limit next.

My best time was 12.77 and 112 mph. I echo Syck SS on the track conditions. I had so much crap on my tires even after driving home.

I think I blew a rear seal. Now I have an oil leak at the back of the engine. And, it was my birthday!

I had an oil pan/rear seal issue last year while I was at GLD w/ Pro Stock John

Sounds like thats what it is. Those are such a pain... very cheap part but a ton of labor.

Hey Syck SS - any thoughts about where to go to get it fixed? I wonder if Chevy would warantee it?

                    • My apologies for the jack.. The answer to the "would Chevy warranty it" is most always, "well, that depends" and it depends on you and your dealer.

                      Some will. Some won't.

By the listing in your sig, I can tell you that if you just pick a random dealer you don't have a relationship with, they'll just up and blame all your mods and stick you with the bill -- regardless of their being any bulletins or not.

If you have a dealer that you go to for work that's used to dealing with modded cars, then they ~can~ attribute certain failures and problems to known GM conditions that have TSBs and show it would have happened even on a stock engine.. But, again, that's up to the dealer.

Ultimately, GM can call any dealer on to the "carpet" for any warranty work and someone's back side will get owned and then back billed for parts and labor, plus, they can potentially get more heat from GM in terms of post audits and future audits.

There are a couple of well known dealers in our area that have a habit of working with customers to fix issues at little to know cost if they know it to be a problem with the car.

I'm not going to list their names publicly for obvious reasons, but, they are around....

                      • I have a dealer that would do it as warranty. Send me a PM if you want the info.

Ask Syck SS on his thoughts as he had some work done there.

I don't have any issues currently, but who are you guys using?? My 3/36 is up in August but the powertrain still remains. PM me if you wouldn't mind, I used Gary Lang before the engine mods.

I could see snow on the ground in some of the pics, that track is still frozen. Unless no limit has under ground heat it would have the same issue. We need some warmth to thaw the track out.
