I better not break shit this time or I'm just going to snap.. Kinda like a 5th Gen axle.

I will probably be doing all the breaking, I don't think you need to worry. Haha

Good l luck with your 10.99 run. That would be cool.

I'll just be learning the new car.

Thanks Randy, the few tweaks I made this winter should help me edge it out. Or blow it up lol.

My ultimate goal with this setup was to run the 10.99 with stock suspension and bottom end. So I am working on shaving .25 off which doesn't seem like much. But this pig likes to fight back.

You had launching the camaro down to a science. It should be about the same with this car I'd say. I'm curious to see what you can do

As much fun as it is watching YouTube vids of car blowing themselves to bits on a track, it kinda loses its luster when it's close to home (especially if you've suffered that same part failure)

Hopefully you'll edge it out first, before any failures occur.

I honestly wish I had it down to more of a science, but with all the various issues with my suspension, I was fighting the car more than I was the natural physics of the Universe. =(

I've been reading up on the 6 speed auto and who gets what times just letting the computer shift itself in S or by using the paddle shifters. My year model as improvements in the manual control that make it respond faster when in manual mode, so I might be able to get good times --- but, with the car being 100% stock powertrain, I figure the computer would probably have the better chance of correctly shifting and since it's a 1/4 mi, I don't need it to downshift.. So.. We'll see.

hey its a whole new journey so thats half the fun. The neat thing is you should be running pretty close to what you were before and the car is bone stock. That says a lot in itself.

And i will be doing A LOT of pregaming and fine tuning to make sure its as safe as possible.

i keep no secrets, at the track i will be boosting between 12-14 psi with a TON of fuel and Meth. Main reason i opted to get a failsafe enabled wideband so if my car jumps over 12.2:1 AFR, i have it wired in to open my wastegate to let all boost out. This will truely be pushing the limits on the stock block and suspension parts. The idea we are going with is to minimize the strain at launch due to thats what breaks the stock drivetrain and suspension parts, and use top end power to drop my time. So essentially if i keep my 1.85-9 60ft, and add the boost, i should break that 10.99 pass. once i get that pass i will cut the boost back down to the 8-10psi range and finish the project we have going on with my wife's truck.

                          Cool deal... Good luck..

I believe SuperchargedSS over on Camaro5 has a mostly stock driveline -- but, he has the slushbox over the stick so he has some padding there...

yup i have tracked his progress for some time. Also ECS has pushed several ls3 with stock bottom ends to the 800whp mark too, And have had stock bottom end cars in the high 9's so. I think just hitting a 10 second pass will be possible with the right combo and fine tuning.
