  • GLD/ RSD/ 10-26 Friday

I am heading up there after work, anyone else going? Want to see if I can squeak into the 12.3's.

Anyone know a place on the way that might sell Torco Accelerator? I'd like to try some to see if I pick up a little on the front half, or I might get a few gallons of 100 of GLD is selling it.

Good luck.. We already have plans and I'm on no-boost for 500 miles due to a new clutch.

good luck John! wish i could make it out tonight but the job got in the way.

last time i went to the track I was given some toluene. Don't know if you have tried that stuff before but i believ we picked it up at ace hardware. Gave my buddy a 3mph gain just by mixing it with his fuel.

let us know how it goes!

Good luck John. I am sick as a dog with a cold or I would try and make it. The cold weather should make for some good numbers.

If I remember right the Mobil in town, Union Grove, sells high octane fuel but you need a container to put it in and it is cheaper than GLD.

Randy, what clutch did you get?

          T.
The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

Bleh, I was a tenth slower not quicker, either the 2 gallons of race gas made the car lazy as the incrementals were slower 330 on or there was more water in the air...

I might try one more weeknight but the DA has to look crazy.

                  12.58@110.19, 1.91 spun
                  12.59@110.81, 1.88
12.60@108.91, 1.92 I left weird it was supposed to be pro tree
12.68@110.05, 1.97, spun hard in right lane

We are doing Mods for the Masses Part II (for Camaro Now), and I'll do a converter, trans cooler and consider some suspension. Goal will be 11.99.

looks like that 60ft is the most difficult for you. same for me. that converter should get it down for you. We will see how the cool air combined with meth does for me tomorrow. hopefully i dont see my timeing pulled anymore.

I don't typically spin, but did that night at GLD. That 1.97 was me for example spinning like for half a car.
