    Running down a Z06

    Okay, so there are certain folks who seem to think that what I am about to show you can't be done. Most of them are on another website, and I will get to them, but I wanted to show y'all first.

    After a weekend of rain, 2 1/2 inches, at Road America I was jonesing for some dry track time. So late Sunday night, like 9:30 pm after unpacking the car, I signed up for some track time at the Autobahn on Monday. So I had to repack the car and set the alarm. I got down there Monday morning to a beautiful day.

    So this video is the final session of the day and after getting many compliments about how the car sounded and performed all day. I was actually joking with a couple of the corvette guys saying that I really didn't have a chance yet to run any of them down. They all scoffed at the notion. After I ran this one down the owner actually called me and my car an animal/monster and that it was a lot of fun.

    PS. Rain laps while passing multiple Mustangs at RA are on the way.
    The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
    Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
    I can't wait for my Track next fix.

            Even when you show it to people, in color and HD even, they just can not, or will not, believe it.

            Does that Vette look like it is going 1/2 throttle to you, Jcobra? The owner of the Vette even admitted I ran him down, past him and complimented me and my car afterwards. He was not holding back and that is insulting to him.

            Next time I see you remind me to give you a quarter so you can buy a clue.

            I will also tell you what mods I have as they are just too long to list.

                      WoW!!! awesome nice driving, you can tell when you picked up right after the Vette comes into view your wheels start squeeling more in the turns

                              because everyone else is chiming in i will too.

                              that does not depict your car is faster than a Z06, the depicts that you are a better driver. If you were able to take seat time in that Z06, I you would have been able to pull better lap times than what you did in your camaro.

                              The truth is that you were a much much better driver than the vette owner. yes your car is a monster and you know how to handle it, thats more than half the battle when it comes to racing. I can speak myself because my car is extremely powerful and i am still learning how to drive to get consistent results.

                              very cool video, and once again very impressive driving on your part. The ending result was yes you beating a Z06 with that driver.
