    Thanks. I would run the same without the VR Wedge and ported TB neither in my opinion I don't think either mod helps with overall horsepower just part-throttle driveability.

    Anyone running a 160 thermostat who is tuned, who can tell me what their coolant temperatures are at idle? Swapping one in probably won't help me a ton, but I might not have to wait as long between passes.

    What size torx was that 1stGM? I need to buy one.

    EDIT: ~20 psi, I'm running 275 20 Nitto 555's.

      Good question on the thermostat. I am running stock as well and was thinking about this too.

            Felt similar, low 50's like it was Sunday morning at Norwalk. Norwalk was colder I think and last night at GLD we had a lot of humidity since rain was coming.

            I'm building up a list of all the little things I do to make the car work, and it's been paying off.

            (Thinking about converters right now haha... and power adders...)

                I'd kinda like to go 10.9x in my Camaro someday, it was cool seeing 1stGM's car run so consistent.

                  thats beautiful. Nice clean setup. I was torn between the twin setup i have or the single front mount. I went with the twin because it was different and i liked the idea of having the turbos away from the egine/trans. I just love the turbos all the way around and i am still different which is cool. Shoot im ranked number 31 on C5 for fastest power adders out of everyone and im 1 of 2 turbo guys on there. so thats pretty cool to say.

                      I have heard the same thing. This is a mod I have never done before so I'm not sure how much of a benefit if any you receive from this.

                        I remember people in the 4th gen era doing it.. I had one in my 90 pickup with a 350 in it..

                        I really don't seen many changing out the T-Stat on the LS engines nowadays.

                        IIRC the general consensus was unless you lived in the middle of the Sahara or somewhere in Death Valley it was a waste and would possibly lead to more issues than it was worth..

                            Ah, you're willing to experiment and be a guinea pig...

                            Been there.. not doing it again.. I only have so much time and $$ for my car and when I have to start swapping parts on/off because stuff doesn't work, I lose interest and get in the "I hate this pile of crap" mode.. I've been sold too much in the way of fluff parts that don't work for this car for me to do it again.
