It was also good beating you both.

Decent race weather, for July anyway.
DA was around 2000 at 7pm and dropped to about 1600 by night's end.

Time to put a sticky tire on my car!

Nope.. See below.. I'm just out of traction... I have this tiny little sliver of RPM that I can correctly launch at and it's difficult to do it... So, I either bog off the line and net my 12.1x.-12.3x times or I go too high and I just spin off the line and go upper 12s or worse. Hell, last night my Check Engine light came on and I shut it down in 3rd and coasted through with 12.6x @ 95MPH..

My best was 12.19 last night before packing it in over the oil issue.

Didn't think you got that deep in to 12s.

My car ran good, I can't share deets until the magazine article comes out, but the car is running very well. I couldn't get better than 1.96 on the stock tires, the track was not great but I might need to get a pair of drag radials. I think I had the only auto car there was that screeching the tires on the 1-2 shift.

I'm a DA watcher so whenever I see promising weather I try to make it out. I haven't checked out the weather predictions for next week yet. Last night the DA got down to 1600 or 1800 I think Randy? I picked up 1 mph from the last time I ran with no changes.

While the starting line was not amazing the air was vastly better.

Hmmmm, I wonder how I would have fared. Because of the steep 1st gear in my 6L80 I tend to get wheel spin at the top of 1st gear even with drag radials. I still want to go on street tires just to see what I can do.

I really had to gradually roll into the gas to get two 1.96 short times. I'd just bring the big boy tires or at least bring 'em with you.
