  • First time at the strip

Went to RSD on Friday and got a few runs in. I can honestly say launching/speed shifting a 6 speed is hard. Im completely stock down to the tire/filter.

My slip was cut in half so heres the numbers as shown on slip. Since some of the slip is missing I cant remember all the numbers. I wonder with that MPH and say a 1.9 60ft what my ET would be. It was like 69 degrees out.

    RT:.-140
    60 ft:2.386
    6.206
    9.176
    83.61
    11.697
    1/4 Mile:13.810
    MPH: 106.30

Congrats on running some solid first times.

I was at GLD on Saturday helping my friend with his 7 second car, and the DA was 3700 at midday! I got some runs in to, when I correct the times they look pretty promising for when we have better air.

Thanks, all. I'll try and make it out next Sunday if I can ever make a decision on a tire. I think the nitto 555r is the only option on a stock rim.

The 555r is junk, go with a MT ET street radial II. They come in 305/35/20 and fit the stock rim. I personally would go down to an 18" rim and the same tire.

Reccomended minimum rim width on the 3053520 is 10 inches so while it will "fit" stock 9" wheel the tire is not sitting flat as it should be. I have the 18 mickey thompsons in stock as well.

Will this rim clear the brake calipers?

If so, this may be a good route for me. I'm so up in the air right now lol.

Yes it will. I have a set of these for the track. Make sure you get Tue right offset though. I believe it was 40mm is what was needed but its too late for me to think straight haha
