Chicago proper.. or "Chicago" as the burbanites would call everything else within a 30mi radius?

There's GLD in WI, No Limits in IN, Route66 in Joliet and Byron in Byron. They all depend on where in Chicago you are.

Hey now, some of us burbanites know the difference!

Kim has pointed that out with her friends many times..

          We hear:

          "Where do you live?
          "Chicago"
          "Yeah, what part?"
          "Schaumburg"

The nerve of those people. We better change the club name to suburban5thgen since most of our members and events do not reside in proper Chicago.

I'm all for that.. Have been ever since I started noticing the vast majority of events for Chicago5thGen aren't in Chicago...

I'm just a stickler for stating where you live correctly first, then clarifying by next closest major landmark/city.

I do it the other way. I bet you despise the Dallas cowboys, they're in Arlington. Or the New York Jets/Giants, they are not even in the same state. If you really want to be a stickler, the guy's post asks for the closest strip in Chicago. The correct answer is none.

Eh. Not a sports fan, so I don't know much about any of them or where they are exactly located.

Out of state or country, I say I'm from Chicago. In state, I name the suburb, then clarify direction in relation to the city. Sometimes I use Chicagoland.

On another note, the weather is now prime for the drag strip.
