    Really wish I could make it out with you guys.... but my ZR1 clutch shit the bed after 1 somewhat hard pass... That 4l80 cant get here soon enough....

        Asking 5th gen A6 guys for pointers netted me the 13.15, I have to thank blackflag on cam5 for his tips.... I actually beat his best time with his own advice.

        Now let's see if I can get a 13.doh and then I'll un-stockify this bish.

            I'm so old school I was driving like my prostreeter. Trying to launch at 3500 was not cutting it . Foot to the wood after launch wasn't cutting it either. My 70 Camaro had a glide with a brake and a 5000 stall. Miss those wheels up launches!

              More likely that car is coming back on a flat bed, not too worried. YOu're just lucky I don't have a vette. I would run to the top of that list too. I'll give you a head start just like I did on the v8 list.

                        I would definitely change the clutch fluid, I think the stock stuff can go bad pretty quick in a high hp car.

                        I was talking to 'wiki today and I was talking about how the vette guys would have this problem years ago and they would change out the fluid.

                        When do your turbos go into boost, what rpm? Where are they mounted?

                            yeah I'm going to swap the fluid tommorrow.

                            But i have a remote mount similiar to the STS setup. basically cut the mufflers off and put them in their place. i am under full boost just around 3500 RPM.

                            I'm really hoping the weather holds up, it would be cool to meet you and both try to beat our times.

                              Full boost by 3500 no kidding... So you need to launch lower than that to plant the tires with DR's I take it?

                                yeah, launching under full boost would be almost impossible.

                                i am going to try the launch control that GM built into the car to see what kind of response i get. It holds the RPM between 4500-5000 and then supposedly the magic computer will keep my tires mainly planted but that is only with the stock HP. curious to see how useful it is under boost. it will be ideal to built boost at launch but i bet it will drive my computer crazy.
