Monte Carlo SS exhaust

My mom's 2006 Monte Carlo SS V-8 needs 2 new mufflers. The Chevy dealer quoted $1500 for 2 performance mufflers installed. About $1400 of it is parts. Does anyone know of a muffler shop in or not too far from Schaumburg that can give her a better deal than that without it being some really cheap generic mufflers?
