200mph C7 Corvette

I did 149 in the Camaro and 144(ish) in the Grand Sport at Road America and I can tell you that's fast when you have your windows down and can feel/hear the wind rushing by (track requirement). Turns come up on you really quickly at those speeds.

Before I had any performance mods I had a buddy from work with me and saw 140 on a two lane country road. Afterwards I thought how stupid that was. He was a BMW guy and said he did 135 in his so I felt I had to beat that. Again, stupid. Could have killed both of us. If I do anything like that again, I'll be smart about it.

i have had the camaro over 155+mph on a closed highway in mexico haha. Stupid bikes trying to race me lol

and yes, i needed a new pair of shorts after that one.

The driver has a loose cable with a button in his left hand and at 150mph he pushes the button and holds it down until he reaches the 200 mark. Anyone know what the button is doing? Some kind of injection?

Didn't think of that, but may have been a good idea.

Another comment I didn't make before is that I was amazed at how there were was no sign of any vibration in the car at all at 200mph. The camera didn't shake, the steering wheel was perfectly still. Of course, I'm sure that had the car dialed in perfectly, but I was still amazed. The more I see stuff on the new C7's, the more I'm impressed. I think GM hit another home run.
