nice. Though we won't be able to tell if you're really obsessed with black unless you change out the backup sensors, and black out the exhaust tips

the powder coating was done at Wheels of America in elk grove

i will say the quality of the work is awesome. We had some pretty bad curb rash on all 4 wheels and they cleaned it all up very nicely. and the powder coat itself is very nice. If youre still coming to the meet tonight you can check out the job first hand.

I actually took my car to a local body shop, corpo collision in schaumburg. Dropped the car off their on monday, and they took the tires off the wheels, took off the tpms sensors, and shipped my wheels to the Wheels of america shop. Then had the wheels dropped back off at the body shop where they mounted the tires, balanced and everything. It worked out very well instead of having to drive a wheel to the shop and worry about having your car sit on jackstands. Let me know if your interested in something like that and i can talk to my people.

                  *UPDATE*

We no longer have the jeep SRT8...

as she is at the shop getting a single turbo kit put on ;-)

haha did i scare you??? Well this is the main reason that my camaro isn't done, because i am letting my wife get her chance at the fun.

We are not going for crazy HP numbers or track times. With my estimates being we should see between 500-550whp/tq @ 6psi of boost. Which should net her high 11's in the 1/4 mile.

The really cool and exciting thing about this process, is that this turbo kit will be mass produced. I have partnered up with CM Racing and Demon Performance to help bring a budget friendly turbo kit to the market for the SRT8 community.

Currently there are only 2 companies producing turbo kits for the SRT8 Jeeps, and the cheapest kit will run you $10-11k easy PLUS you have to ship your car to florida for 4-5 months on average. To where this kit will be able to be shipped to you in your garage and installed with handtools. It will be much cheaper with just as good if not better quality.

So we are shooting for the first week of november to have her back if we have no snags along the way. So i will keep everyone posted!

Parts are ordered and should be here friday if the holiday week didnt mess up shipping too bad. Heres the current parts list.

                    *PT76CEA Turbo - 76mm with a T4 exhaust housing with a .96 AR
                    *80lb bosch injectors
                    *450 walbro fuel pump
                    *46mm Precision Wastegate
                    *50.5mm Tial "Q" BOV
                    *2 BAR MAP Sensor

Its going to have a 3inch exhaust to turbo, 3.5 inch downpipe to the cat"less"back exhaust, and 2.5 inch charge pipe... accompanied by a 3.5inch thick front mount intercooler.

So i will post pictures of all the goodies as soon as the arrive.

I'm no mechanic, but you might want to remove that can before installation.
