  • A little secret about me...

ok so i know some say that being a gear head runs in your genes. Some people have it where it is a father/son thing, others grow up watching grandpa and dad working on cars in a body shop, and so on and so forth. Well i always used to wonder where i got it from. My dad liked cars but was never really into them the way that i am....

Well it turns out i got it from my grandpa on my moms side. Or my moms father... I never was able to meet him, but within the past couple of years i found out that cars do run in my blood due to him...

His name was Dave Puhl, and turns out he was VERY famous back in the 70's for building and designing custom cars. He did all the fabrication, designing, mechanical, and body work. He was kind of the Chip Foose of his time i guess you could say. Just after a quick search i was able to find a few of his creations and i will be continuing the hunt for some of his vehicles.

I was able to find one of them in a museum in oklahoma... it would be cool to be able to locate others. I might be taking a field trip soon. Anyways here are some shots of the vehicles he designed and made....

this is actually my grandma and grandpa sitting in one of his creations called the Phaze 2 on a magazine cover

The phase 2. The mueseum owners responded to my email yesterday and are sending more pictures over of it. I'm pumped.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.
