Picked up the Camaro at Countryside Customs last night. All I can say is Thanks for Steve and his crew for an amazing finish that they put on the car with their 4 step buffing process. The car looks super shiny and wet even without wax which it does not need anymore. All of the imperfections are gone! At the meet today in Crystal Lake, we had many great comments on the finish.

The car looks totally different now. Dosen't look like a factory finish at all.

Thanks Steve. You've got a customer for life! What an amazing shop!!!

Why doesn't it need wax anymore?? If they polished/buffed it, they stripped all the wax off and it no longer had any protection from the elements. That doesn't make any sense at all. After a polish is the best time to wax/seal a car because its the cleanest it will be. Either you got some bad info or they just want you to come back for more work.

If you saw the car you wopuld know why. Ask Steve about the waxing. Or ask KSMYSS as he had it done years ago. Detailer does the trick.

I saw the car today.... There's a reason they make wax and paint sealent.

Just so everyone is on the same page, there should be either a polish glaze or a wax on his car right now. Meguiars Ultimate Detail will help keep the finish on there longer but you still need to wax or put some kind of sealer on your car once or twice a year depending on how much you wash it and how much it is in the weather. The Ultimate Detailer, if you are not familiar with it, after you apply it, it actually cures and helps to protect the finish. I like to use Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealer or their Synthetic Tech Wax on my car.

The 4 step process Scotch Mans Camaro received included a hand applied wax, since his car does not see weather, winter or daily use, showroom detailer will keep the finish maintained. If the car needs to be washed a hand applied polish can be used. Under these conditions and use, wax will not be needed for a several years, the over application of wax will cause a clouding or smearing of the finish. Of course conditions and use will always dictate the maintenance and care required.

Is this just exterior? How much extra would the interior detail be?

Included in the 4 step is a vacuum and we do a nice cleaning of the windows. If you wanted our additional interior detail including a steam clean of the interior that would be our Premier Detail which is 499 and we will have the same $50 discount in the same window so it would be 449. The premier would mostly be if you had some stains in the carpet or a cloth seat that you are having a hard time getting out otherwise, the interior clean we do with the 4 Step process will suffice.

We can do a leather condition on the seats but we will have to clean them which would put it in the Premier Detail section. So that would be the $499 and with the discount it would be $449.

I thought I would remind some people out there that if they are still considering having their cars done, the end of May is almost here. Larry had his done and picked it up a couple of weeks ago, turned out great.
