  • Amazing Tuning by Speed Inc.

So I got my car tuned by Speed Inc last Thursday. I am always tweaking and working on improving things so they always welcome me back with open arms to help me dial it in.

My previous dyno was just about a year ago. These were my settings at that time.

    *8psi of boost
    *65lb FAST Injectors
    *stock fuel pump w/ BAP
    **results were 565whp / 560tq

What I appreciated after the tune is that they made note of what they saw as areas of improvement. So i went out and worked on making those adjustments. Took it back last week with these new add-ons.

    *9-9.5psi of boost
    *65lb FAST Injectors
*ZL1 Fuel pump w/ ADM FPCM
*AEM Meth Injection (to control IAT's)
    **results were 622whp / 596tq

Not only did i gain more top end power, but because of the recommendations i was able to pick up between 50-75whp across the whole RPM Range.

Now things i always expressed as a concern are drivability and reliability. I daily drive my car and i have to say that i am extremely comfortable with this tune and the way it responds.

After putting the car through some minor roads trips of 100miles and taking it to the track. I now can say that I have been getting about 17-18mpg city and 25-28mph highway. And those that know me know I have a heavy foot. If I baby it i am sure i can get it even better.

not only is the the MPG and drivability spot on, but it also has transalted on the track as well.

My previous best with the old tune was 11.18 @ 125.7 - 1.78 60ft. That was with a DA right around +1800.

well with new tune i was able to pull off a new personal best with a 11.09 @ 126.63 - 1.77 60ft. With the DA way over +2700

seeing as the 60ft is the same, that shows the car is making better and more power. Trapping an ET faster and quicker when the DA is that high shows this thing is dialed in just right.

So in the end i am happy to say that i drive a 600whp... 11.0 ET car... that averages almost 20 MPG... all do to the time Speed inc put into my tune.

    Thanks guys!

Sweet! Oh so close to that 10.?? mark. So what's next to get you there?

I wish I got that gas mileage out of my 322rwhp beast! I'm hoping my car runs better all around after FLP is done with it on July 3rd.

      Congrats!

honestly all i need to do is wait for better weather. The air quality was horrible and it can play a big part in the performance of the car. So i realistically dont need to modify it anymore to get that 10 second pass. Just launch it the same way with better air and be good...

With that said, injectors would be next to turn up the boost most likely. haha

i actually spun a little in first and had to let off just slightly to regain grip just before shifting into 2nd.

It seemed like everyones first pass that day was their best. The track seemed grippy and hott. But as the day went out the air got worse, and the track wasnt cooperating the same anymore.

The reason I'm asking is if you can hook up with your 18's and Nittos, I certainly will be able to hook up.
                  Thanks as always.

Oh yeah, you will be able to hook on these.

I am launching now from 4000-4500 rpm.

Also PSJ just got a set of 18's with nittos and pulled off his best 60ft, while still spinning a little. They should be perfect for your setup.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

I hook with 20" nittos. Same setup as you, but a 3200 stall. 1.7 all day, I think I may have snuck in a 1.6.

I'll have to check. I am not sure if it's 05 or 555.

I think you have the 05's, they hook better for a more built combo.
