Geez, that steering shaft lube issue has been around since my 99 Silverado. The fix for the clunk sound was initially apply more lube, then they re-engineered the shaft. Some things never change. Thanks for the info.

        Shop location and info

Hi, we are located on twin rail dr in unit D right next door to my friends restoration shop. We run our leasing company out of the same shop, so that is why the name Performance Truck leasing is on the sign out front. We would be happy to give you a tour of our shop any time you would like. We would be honered to work on your Camaro. We take great pride in all the work we do. We care for each and every customers car that we work on. We treat them all like they are our own.
Feel free to give us a call to set up a visit.

A special thanks to TBone for the great PR job. I appreciate it, we will do you proud.

Had another great experience with Eric and Kevin. Got the torque converter put in and upgraded brake fluid to dot 4. Barely took them a day to get it done and allows me to have enough break in time before the infamous gld meet. It's pretty cool to see the car shift at 4k/rpm and drop to only 3500 rpm and keep it in the cars sweet spot.

When I called for a quote for cam/headers installed and tuned they were way high.

Shop around for a reasonable price, they'll work with you just like any business would.

I also had a great experience with Libertyville Chevy Performance Center. I had a cam, headers cold air intake, shifter and dyno tune performed and am thrilled with the results. Erik and Kevin will take care of you.

I got a quote from speed too, but they left out all the changes needed to dump vvt, and the headers were a lower cost option. And like I said, I came back to libertyville and told them what I was seeing charged elsewhere and they dropped their price.

2012-07-18 18.51.50.jpg Eric treated my car as if it were his own, I had my car in because of a ticking noise that i knew was the lifters, i had it twice to rockenbach for the noise and they said they could never hear it yet i heard it often, so i finally took it to libertyville and was so impressed the way they treated me and my car, they replaced the lifters and then stowed me away with all the vettes, i felt a little special seeing as no other chevy dealer has ever treated me like that, KuDoS To ErIc
