After reading what everyone has said about this place I may go there soon. I have been into Raymond Twice for various things with my car and they have fixed them... although it took them about 6 months to get me a replacement clip for my passenger side window. I brought it in recently for a oil change etc, and pointed out my sunroof. The netting on the drivers side is completely detached from the actual plastic, you can pop it back into place but hold for only maybe an hour? They said they would take care of it. I got my car back and opened the sun roof and everything was good, I get home after only driving a mile and it's popped back out
-_- all they did was snap it back into place when I told them I've already done that... And everyone is talking about software updates? How do I know if I need any?
K&N Cold Air Intake, Smoked Side Markers, Smoked Taillights, Smoked reverse lights, Blacked out RS badge and Chevy Bowtie emblems, Tinted Windows 20% around, 2 12" Type R Alpine Subwoofers with 1400watt Kicker amp, Blue dyed stitching.

This update is if you are experiencing problems with connecting your ipod, phone, etc to the car. In my case my ipod would randomly not work (when it was plugged in) and I would either have to drive without using the ipod or turn the car on and off or plug and unplug the usb until it worked again.

How much did they charge you to install the headers? I've got a set of Kooks stepped headers on order. Can't decide to install myself and save the money, or pay a dealer to somewhat protect my warranty. I talked with Bill Kay's and got a price for the parts & install, but I got a sweet deal on coated Kooks I couldn't pass up. Two speed shops quoted $450 and $500 for the install which seems high.

                  Bannonm,

Checkout Sports Car Repair and Modifications | Supercar Performance right in Minooka. He does great work and is right in your home town. I have checked out his shop and spoken to some folks that have had work done there and they are all very happy with his work. He is on my short list to install cam/heads for me.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

Is that the guy on Twin Rails drive? Across from the Marathon station? I saw a place that said something about Modern Muscle...something. I googled it and it looks like he does restores on older muscle cars. Maybe not the same place?

You know it is fairly easy to do it yourself. I did mine in my garage in an afternoon, bum arm and all, and still made it to my Uncle's concert that night. If you are fairly mechanically inclined and have the tools it is not hard to do. It is even easier/faster to do with two people.

Finally had a chance to drive a bit more in stop/go traffic, which is where my clutch noise would show itself... Totally gone.. They even found an insufficient lube condition on a couple other parts that see frequent movement and a bind the clutch actuator.. R&R'd those for me... Car sounds much better -- clutch feels better as well..

Got a full replacement on the main crank damper and A/C belt -- so far so good, but I'll have to drive it longer to see if it hops off yet again..

Car came out of the shop spotless as well.

                          Definitely a topnotch dealer...

So do you know what parts required lubrication? Are these things that need grease as normal maintenance?
