Hello everyone. I am part of Camaro5 forums, and Orange5thgen suggested I join this forum too.
I own a Transformer Edition Camaro -- and I see that another member, Robsls1, was looking for one to surprise his 4 year old with on July 24th. I hope he found one, if I would have joined sooner I would have helped out. I'm sorry Robsls1.
A little about me --
I am a 32 year old high school Psychology teacher, so I have been enjoying my summer.
I am a HUGE Chicago Cubs fan. Last year I was able to go to at least one game for each home series -- total of 68 games. That was my vacation -- it was the one good thing about the team not playing very well -- I was able to buy tickets on stub hub for crazy low prices, we are talking about $5 a game by the last two months of the season.
This year I have been going to the minor league games to see if our future looks any better then are present, and I'd have to say it does. I was able to see the Iowa Cubs, the Peoria Chiefs, and the Tennessee Smokies. I wish I could see the Daytona Cubs and the Boise Hawks but I think that will have to wait until next year.
This is my second camaro. I bought my 1998 Camaro right after I got my first teaching job. My students can't believe that I was 20 before I had a car of my own. I had to use my parents car or the '70 Challenger that I was lucky enough to share with my brothers. And as good fortune would have it, I'm the one that ended up with it as an Adult.
My first Camaro lasted 12 years, and truth be told it probably could have lasted longer, but I really wanted the Transformer Edition Bumblebee so I traded it in.
I love this car!!!
