My Grand Sport has RPO 315 -- Custom Ebony/Cashmere interior. An option that was only in 96 cars of 11,647 in 2012. The seat inserts and surfaces are very light and are of a color absorbing material, so I'm familiar with this issue. Even the W1H option on 5th Gens had issues with denim color transfer.

    I'm sure I'll manage.

I'm sure that if anyone can, you'd be the one. I was just a little not-surprised about the TSB warning

I did see the TSBs about cleaning them and which cleaners were recommended for use.

I'm also moving out to Naperville in April and I "know a guy" with some detailing stuff and I see him often.

And.. if I end up messing up a seat or slightly coloring it -- oh well.. I'm not exactly known for being a show'n'store type anyways.

This one will see sleet, snow, ice, dirt roads, drags, road course, car shows, beaches, road trips, etc. just like all my other ones.. Some DD wear will be unavoidable.

I'm just waiting to see which centry s/cs will debut first, how much they'll be and what's the required bits.. I see Procharger is due out Mid-Feb and there's a couple PD ones on the rollers -- including a TT setup.

I like them at first but the more I see them there's to many sharp edges. Interior is nice but the outside just looks weird to me.

Car is at 3400 with a TPW of 2/15/16.

I might end up getting it before end of month, assuming no QC hold.

Sure. I'm hoping to have it before I move to Naperville (really hoping it doesn't take until April to get delivered).

Car is built, waiting on shipping to dealer and has VIN.

Took delivery of the car over the weekend.. Still in the learning process since there's so much more tech in the cabin than the GS, but I like what I see thus far. The performance I've been able to get from it thus far, not being on a track, is quite impressive. You can definitely tell it's a different chassis, lighter and more powerful. The A8 shifts very quickly when left to its own devices, much snappier than the A6 in my GS. Since I didn't get NPP, it's very quiet, but it's not totally mute.
