Well Camaro5Fest turned out to be an expensive trip for me. Last night the original BlkCam was traded in for a 2SS RS 6 Speed Manual. Black of course. I have never driven manual so my son was up teaching me until after midnight last night. Getting smoother but man what a difference in power.

OMG!!! I can't believe you did that after all the work you did. Gotta admit though it was a great decision. You think this was expensive, wait till you start adding everything else, which I am sure you will.
BTW, Pete at Showstoppers installed my MGW shifter yesterday and let me tell you, what a difference. This is awesome in that it makes shifting so much easier and seemingly quicker. I strongly suggest doing this and Pete has it down to about 1 to 1-1/2 hours for changeover time.

Congrats!! Gotta love all that speed!! David told me last night and I have been waiting to see something posted on here about it. Once you learn the clutch, it is a breeze. You will be able to tell when to change gears. Even though you can easily get to 50 in first gear, our pickup you need to be in at least third. Are you coing Saturday? Can't wait to see it.
