No they dont all have the lighting only the 2ss and 2 lts. or if you add it later. You can do the dash to match the doors too!

It's called Ambient Lighting or (ABL). There are several threads about the intertubes on how to fully extend it up the doors and dash.

There are two sets. Blue and Orange. Blue is the normal color when present. Those with the W1H (Inferno Orange Interior Accent Pkg) have Reddish/Orange lighting.

Though, you could probably use other color LEDs if you'd prefer something else.. I know there are all kinds of tinkerers out there.

I think red would look good black/red combo has always been my favorite. But it wont match the rest of the blue interior lights.

I definitely want to get the footwell lighting.

Unless they've changed up the parts, the Red/Blue LEDs are pretty much interchangable (per C5 posts)... I've not done the mod yet myself, but the ABL expansions were the same for all of us, other than the P/N for the LED.

The red and blue LED's use the same connectors. You could also change them to whatever color you want.

Red would look fine with the blue. Just look at the radio/climate controls.

Ive heard about your bad luck, that sucks man. I do like the idea of going with the 45th AE theme. Being the 45th though I don't want to ruin the look. Know what I mean?

Yeah, it does suck. It might have been because I had an early car. I know what you mean but most lighting mods are reversible.
