  • Introducing myself..... again....

Hey guys, just wanted to stop back by to say hello once again. Last year I had A6 SS when I first registered on this site. I went to GLD and met Dan(I think) last November and ran a 12.9 with a stone stock A6.....

Well, as the story goes, I ended up selling that car this past March in order to purchase another house. My wife promised me that once we were to get settled in the new house, I could look for another car...

I am now a happy owner of a 2010 SS/RS M6!!! IOM with white stripes(exactly the same as my old A6). I have already added long tube headers, cats, Roto-Fab cai, and a tune along with a Barton short throw shifter. Tonight, I will be installing a set of Pfadt rear trailing arms with bushings. The car gets a bit too much wheel hop and smething is going to break.....

I am located in Kenosha, Wisconsin and my work schedule makes it really hard to make it out to many events, but I plan on making as many as possible....

Hi John, I just became a member and can't wait to meet you. I'm located in Kenosha as well. I'll see if I can make it to GLD on Wednesday. Believe it or not, I've never been there yet.

Welcome. Glad you joined us. I would be open to taking a road trip into Wisconsin sometime. Great brats and beer. Wife and I visited the Jelly Belly store up near you and took the tour. Might make for a great future outing!

Both have their advantages..... My auto was one of the few that seemed to run really well (12.90's stock). From a pure drag race ET standpoint the auto is the way to go, especially after having the trans tuned. That being said, you just cant beat the feeling of going through the gears on a manual trans muscle car, even if the stock clutch sucks....
