After Holiday Party, January 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we are pushing the holiday party back one week to Saturday January 26th.
The weather for Saturday looks awful with six plus inches of snow to be hitting the area.
We want everyone to be able to have fun and have a safe trip home, so that is why we decided to push this back one week.

Unfortunately it looks like some of our members that come from distances will have some trouble on Saturday according to the forecast . We thought it would be better to be safe and give people the opportunity to make other plans rather then wait to the last minute to advise as such . It is a little different then calling a rain date which we usually wait to the day before or the day of. We know we are all getting hit with snow, it is just a matter of how much and that will be different in different areas. That will be challenging for anyone driving over 30 -45 minutes to the destination. It was a decision based upon a multitude of opinions. Sorry

Thank you for the date change, we are right on the border of 3-6 or 4-8 plus the lake effect snow. Dave gets off at 3 on Saturday and by the looks of it will be lucky to be home by 4, then to have to drive about 70 miles once he does get home, we really appreciate it, sorry it doesn't work for everyone
