Just saw this posted on the city web site, just an FYI if you wanted to bring anything.

The Village's Celebrations Commission will be out in force once again accepting donations for area food pantries, so be on the lookout for their float and shopping carts! Make sure to bring your nonperishable canned or boxed goods and/or paper products. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Weather has been changing daily, but as of right now it shows rain all day Wednesday. Will this be a rain or shine event?

I spoke with the city of Hoffman Estates officials today about the parade and the weather.
The parade is a rain or shine event which means it will go off at 9 AM no matter what the weather is.
CNG club will monitor the weather closely, if it is raining we will cancel this event, but this is Chicago land and anything can happen, so keep your eye on the sky and check back here frequently as we will post updates

As of today (Monday) rain is suppose to hold off till Wednesday afternoon. Keeping fingers crossed.

So come on out for coffee and donuts, being in a parade is fun and the kids love to see these beautiful machines..

Be aware that children could be running around the cars picking up trinkets
