July 4th Parade in Hoffman Estates !

Ok kids, here we go.....
We meet at 745 at 1 Illinois Blvd. at 755 we roll to our staging area at 545 Newark. We will have coffee and donuts while waiting for the parade to start. The parade will run about 8 tenths of an mile and end at Hoffman park.
Afterwards we will go to Moretties on Higgins rd in Hoffman estates for lunch. 2475 w Higgins rd.





We have been invited to participate in the Hoffman Estates July 4th Parade.!

Wytlighting was nice enough to put a plan together and approach Hoffman Estates about getting us in the Parade and they said they were interested.

Those of you who went with us last year to the Fox Valley July 4 Parade know how much Fun a Parade event can be ! And the best part is your up and out driving in the car and have the rest of the day to go and do other stuff !!
OR We may go to Lunch after if there is enough interest in that as well, which around here we all like to eat !

Meet time will be 8:00 a.m.

Parade starts at 9:00 a.m. Sharp !

This event is for paying Dues Members ONLY. we are held to approx. 20 spots in the parade !

We had about 18 members last time C5G did a parade ! We need to match that folks.
You need to represent Peeps and you will be in the pool by 12:30 so sign the heck up.
PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!
And if you sign up, you better show up in the morning or I will come to your home for your afternoon family BBQ and show your family what a shiny Camaro should look like ! Hehe

This Parade is a good opportunity to grow this club and get others to join so ALL the events throughout the year are better attended. It will not take much time and is early enough so help yourself's out in having a better time throughout the year at other club events by participating in it !

Staging is at 8 am parade starts approximately at 9am and lasts about an hour, There will be a group judging at the end of the parade. No burnouts please, but making noise is great.. Kids love to hear them rev. !! Afterwards we are planning to go to lunch in the area.

Thanks! My concern is the parade speed along with the heat and it's affect on my engine.

I'll think about it some more, possibly consult my engine guru. Would be an early morning for me to get there by 8 but sounds like a fun time.

How about throwing candy to kids? I know some places don't allow it.
As for noise....boy do I have a treat for them. :-)
