I'm not into the Casino, and overnight might be inconvenient. I was thinking of driving down for the day, and then leaving after dinner.

If so, then I might be plus one or plus 2. However, plus 2 refuses to ride in the back seat of a Camaro convertible. So we might need to take a different car. Would that be ok? No tacky foreign econoboxes. It would be a Monte Carlo SS.

Sign me up for 2. Already made our hotel reservation a few nights ago but forgot to post here. If I may make a suggestion... There's an awesome route from Galena through New Diggings, WI we should consider on the way to dinner in East Dubuque. It's about an hour drive. If interested I could supply a route map.

Can you please post the route for those who wish to ride to Dubuque by back roads.

Crappy news. Jill and I won't be able to make this cruise. I have a crack in the rear flange joints on both the resonators of my exhaust. Corsa is replacing under warranty but parts won't arrive in time to get the new parts installed before Saturday. We were really looking forward to this cruise but I can't risk opening up the cracks further and dropping my exhaust on the streets of Dubuque.

In case you all still want to follow the "after Galena" cruise route I was planning, here's a link for it. It's about an hour cruise from Galena to the Best Western in Dubuque. Plenty of time to clean up then head to dinner. Or if you're running late you can cut down IL-35, near the end, and go straight to the restaurant.

Sorry to hear Xello unfortunately, I will not be leading anyone on a side cruise that I haven't already driven the route. But Maybe Johnny will want to adventure out there.

We decided to stay the night as well. Just booked a room at the Best Western Plus.

Google Maps predicts it is 30 minutes from Cracker Barrel to Pecatonica where I will be waiting for the group.

I'll be waiting before 11:30 in case you drive fast...
