Don't think I'm going to make this one after all. My dog was diagnosed with Blastomycosis, fungal infection that's as serious as cancer. If any of you have dogs please be aware this fungal infection has been on the rise in our area in of Illinois.

The dog has flew like symptoms at first. (No appetite, sluggish, runny nose) after a few days, they become more sluggish. I can attest that this is a grave issue, as I lost my last lab to this a few years ago. Brought him to the vet and city a call that he had died in the office. Totally shocked, because a week earlier he was fit as a fiddle. Take this seriously.

Yea my dog went from fine with a small cough to blind in his eye and skin lesions in a week! His lungs haven't filled with fluid yet thankfully.

Sadly the disease presents itself in different ways for different dogs. It is usually misdiagnosed as other things which is what happened to my dog if you go to this link it can give you a lot of info to start. You can PM me if you have any other questions I can try and help you the best I can.
