Its s time again! To celebrate the coming of the spring/summer season with a trip to Rockford! Join the gang on June 5 , 2016, as we head out west to visit
TILTED KILT of ROCKFORD tilted kilt girls. For those that have been with C5G have no doubt been to a cruise to Rockford before and know what a spectacular time a Cruise to Tilted Kilt can be. For you newbies The Rockford lunch cruise is the LARGEST the club has all year. The spring cruise in 2013 to another establishment there which shall remain anonymous , generated 67 cars and 115 people, so lets try to get to that 100 car mark this time! IF YOU DONT MAKE ANY OTHER CRUISE, MAKE IT TO THIS ONE!!!!!
lunch will be served from their regular menu.
We have reserved the Deck area overlooking the parking lot as well as tables inside. The management is excited to start car events at their establishment. They will be making sure to put adequate staff on board to handle our crowd. They already have a good deal of experience in other events there.
We also plan to get support of our sponsors and local vendors for raffle prizes and giveaways.
Our first meet point will be at the Office Depot Store located on the west side of Route 59 just North of I-90 (Northwest Tollway) It's address is 2570 N. Sutton Rd., Hoffman Estates, IL We then meet up with our brothers and sisters to the north at the Randall Road and then Belvidere toll entrance at I90/39. The entire way up there, we amaze everyone driving on our route with our caravan of 5th Gen Camaro and now 6th gen. Spectacular for sure!

Cruise leave time 11:00 Office Depot In the Parking Lot in Front of Office Depot
2570 N. Sutton Rd., (Route 59), Hoffman Estates,, IL 60192
(Try to be there at least 15 minutes before leave time.)
Second pick up point for the cruise is Randall Rd and the Northwest Tollway, 11:20 on the Randall Rd Ramp.
Last pick up point will be the entrance ramp to I90/39 at Belvidere oasis, around 11:45.
RADIOS / Walkie Talkie (Optional, for communications)Be sure to check/change your batteries in your radios, it's been a while.

Some Logical Rules/Helpful Tips First
1)YOU WILL PASS STATE TROOPERS ON THIS CRUISE, GUARANTEED!! BE SMART, BE SAFE!
2)We will always attempt to Cruise in the center or right hand lane at the posted limit, except to maneuver around trucks/slow traffic.
3)AVOID ANY SUDDEN CHANGES IN SPEED AND INDECISION, THEY CAUSE ACCIDENTS
4)PAY ATTENTION! If you look down inside your car when you are in a convoy fiddling with something, by the time you look up, its too late!
5)WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, No need to get pulled over for something like that and spoil your whole day.
6)Be mindful, other traffic needs to get on and off the expressway, let them through to enter and exit the ramps.
7) Be very respectful of the staff at Tilted Kilt ! AND TIP THEM WELL !! They work hard to make us all have a happy day.
8) Be helpful to your fellow club members, If you see someone touching or reaching in a car that shouldnt be, tell someone.
9)Remember, your with a group, what you do reflects on us all.
ROUTE FOR YOU NEWBIES:
Take Route 59 South and make immediate entrance onto ramp on right for I-90 westbound.
Take exit on right I-90 West towards ROCKFORD
Continue on I-90 for about 45 miles
SECOND PICK UP POINT, RANDALL RD, Line up on the Randall Rd. Westbound Ramp
THIRD PICK UP POINT STOP AT BELVIDERE OASIS ON TOLLWAY -
LINE UP ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP FROM OASIS TO EXPRESSWAY, WE WILL RADIO YOU AND OR CALL ONE OF YOU TO ADVISE APPROACHING , MERGE INTO LINE AS IT PASSES.
Take U.S. BR-20 (Business Route) E. State St. Exit
tilted Kilt is directly across the street attached to the Clock Tower Inn Hotel
