Current weather predictions are 65 and partly cloudy, both Saturday and Sunday which means DRY roads and NO Rain !!

Current weather predictions at Starved Rock are SUNNY and 60 degrees and NO RAIN there or here for the next 8 days until October 20, and you know what that means, DRY ROADS !!!!

Melissa and I went up there yesterday for lunch seeing how the weather was unbelievably nice. The whole area was packed with people and cars. Parking was a premium for sure. There was also a festival going on in Utica which is the closest town to Starved Rock. It was jammed packed as well with an estimated 30,000 people passing through Utica yesterday. People were parking everywhere they could find a patch big enough to do so.

Utica won't be an issue but I'm guessing if it's nice weather again this weekend, the Starved Rock area will again be a hot spot. Just making you aware to be safe and be prepared for parking issues unless you've arranged reserved spots ahead of time.

With that being said, let's try to all stay together as a pack.
We will get separated due to the amount of traffic.
I will be leading the way with Bill or Johnny at the end.
I'll make sure we're all together even if that means pulling over and waiting.
I've been through there when it's really packed and we should be fine till we start entering the State Park area. Expect to move at a snails pace and just enjoy the ride.

parking info also posted. Not too worried about it, it is what it is and we will make our own spots if need be. The weather is going to be unbelievable all week so all grass areas and roads should be real dry and that's all that counts !
