            • Jill and I would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Cruise to Lake Geneva. The final vehicle count was 53.

Thanks to everyone, the cruise itself went very smoothly and we ended up at our escort spot just a little earlier than expected.

A special thanks to all our sponsors and the individuals who contributed to the door prize raffle, including C5G, Hines Lumber, The Cove of Lake Geneva for allowing us to use their parking lot, Gino’s East of Lake Geneva, and of course the Lake Geneva Police Department.

Just after we arrived at the escort point, a structure fire broke out somewhere in town and it almost looked like we weren’t going to get our police escort. However, the Lake Geneva Police were able to free up a vehicle for us and the police escort into town did happen and gave all the tourists a nice impromptu parade.

We were able to raise a total of $330 for the 50/50 raffle. The winner, Jim, graciously re-donated his $165 winnings back to the benefit. As such, we are able to donate the full $330 to the Special Olympics, Wisconsin Organization on behalf of the Lake Geneva Police Department. Thank you Jim, and thank you everybody for your generosity.

We hope everyone enjoyed the cruise, lunch, and the Camaro-raderie. Can’t wait to see the pictures and videos from the cruise.

This is going to be tough to top.
Thanks Jill and Ray. Planning an organized cruise of this size is no easy task yet went on without a hitch. Great job! Had a blast!

Well said Verno. Really nice job to all of those who had a hand in this. Very impressive. And 53 cars speaks for itself. See you guys soon.

It was our first cruse too. Won't be the last! Wish we could do more club activities, But busy work lives and a 5 year old sometimes make it a bit hard to make them.

                      • Nice job as usual on the cruise. Glad to see a bigger turnout this year twice as many as last year. Saw a lot of new faces which is even better . It's always nice to see new blood in the club. Thank you to all the new members that joined the club at this outing I think you will be very pleased with your decision to join up.

                          • By the way whoever won a cleaning bucket One of you are missing The microfiber tool to clean inside your rims . It fell out of the bucket in the trunk of my car . If I know who didn't get it I can get it to you at the next outing . It looks like a long stick wrapped with a microfiber rag about a foot long

                            • Does anyone have a few good pictures of us parked or entering the parking lot at The Cove? They have asked so they can put one on their Facebook page. Thanks.
