STAY TUNED !
I want to remain positive. I am looking at the weather very carefully. I may even call our buddy, Mr SKILLING again, LOL. (an inside joke for the Memphis 6) There are some conflicting predictions from different sources.
It's too early to tell anything yet. They keep pushing Some of the rain off to Monday then moving it back to Sunday. It's changed three times now. I have a strong feeling the rain clouds are moving slower at times then they anticipated which means that the rain may come a little later in the day then the current projections, and that is what I have been suspecting for the last week. If that is the case we should be fine because we should be out of there by 1:30-2 anyways. Saturday night right now looks great and Monday now looks great. So I have a hunch that if we get rain it will ONLY be for about 2 hours maybe 2 and 1/2 hours and that hopefully will be later in the day or evening.
Currently there is a ZERO % Chance of rain at 7:00 am Sunday Morning.
The Go/No Go. Will be handled the same way we use to do it two years ago. As soon as I determine the hourly reports west of us and the hourly reports for us We will all know more. I can see more hourly projections by 10:00 am tomorrow.
WE ARE CURRENTLY A GO !
we will look at it again on Friday at noon and SATURDAY at noon to verify a GO/NO GO. We should know more by then.
All we need is three hours of No rain.
The final GO/NO GO will be made at Sunday morning at 8:30 am.
If that is acceptable to all of you that would be my game plan.
If its a No GO, I would presume to pick a rain date for next week Sunday! April 26, if we have to.
Oh and I have to go now so I can go remind Zeus the God of Clouds and rain that he needs to take a day off on Sunday Morning until about 2:30.Last edited by Lawdog; 04-17-2015, 08:35 AM.
