A Breakfast meet at Villa Olivia Country Club on Route 20 (lake st.) and rt 59 in Bartlett.
They put out a really big Breakfast Buffet, with Omelates and waffles, chicken, beef, deserts,... At 10:00-1:30
I thought 11:00 would be a good time for you late sleepers to eat but if you want your car judged be there at 10 !
The price is about $16.95 for adults and kids ages 6-10 is $11.95 and below that age is $4.95.
They have reserved for us a bunch of tables in the main dining room .
I went there today for Breakfast and
THEY ARE EXCITED TO HAVE US THERE NEXT WEEK. !!
Parking will be reserved for us, I am going there early in the morning to accomplish that, and we have the managements cooperation on the parking arrangements. So it should be a great photo op with all our babies lined up. There are going to be a bunch of really nice cars to see at this event with a boatload of modifications in some of them so if you just bought your car, you can get some nice ideas to copy. (did I say that ! Sorry guys)
The smell of Omelletes cooking, bacon sizzling, coffee steaming and raw fuel burning in the parking lot with just a whisper of that carnuba wax flowing in the breeze ,what more could you ask for !
Sign up , Or you could just leave your car in the garage while the rest of us have some fun.
So here's what I was thinking, when you get there after you park and register with me or my son in the lot, Please place your window card that we will give you in the dashboard so I can see your car number. Then you can go in and have some brunch oh and of course pay your bill. Lol
If you want to come back inside and have a drink after your done, there is a very big bar outside of the main dining room .
If you don't want to participate for the car show that's OKAY too. Judging will start early at 10:0 and thereafter until done. If you want your car judged we will need to see the engine compartment, trunk and inside. You will know if you car is judged completely if we place a special notation or sticker on the registration card on you dashboard. If two cars are close or tied we may revisit them to break the tie, just like the World Of Wheels events.
Now here come the LAWDOG Incentives!
Every newbie that attends who has not yet signed up to be a C5G member, will get $ 5.00 off on that singular members brunch, if they sign up and pay their membership that day. That's right $ 5.00 hard cash in your pocket. (this offer is limited to 20 new member participants, after all despite what Fast Freddie says, I ain't made of money man !, hehe)
There will be officers of the club there to sign you up and give you any info. Club T shirts, club window decals.... Look for Ruthie, a/k/a Bumblebee, the clubs Treasurer, she is good at taking people's money.

Stay tuned for possible door prizes if some peeps donate some stuff,
I have ordered , 1st,2nd, 3rd place trophy for the cleanest /best maintained vehicle. don't worry if you have no mods cause mods ain't gonna do anything for you. Its all about if someone else has a better maintained/cleaner vehicle. I will take into account the age of the car so you newbies with your just drove it off the showroom floor are still going to have to work for it. Of course, I am NOT competing in the car show .
