There is a ton of hotels/motel about 10 min away from the host hotel from $41 to $81 a night
I picked Home-Towne Suites ($60/night) but i might change it.Comment

Camaro car show coming to Bowling Green

Bowling Green may be home to the Corvette, but next year it will welcome possibly hundreds of its Chevrolet cousin, the Camaro.
Janet Henderson, group sales/services manager at the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, announced Monday at the CVB board***8217;s monthly meeting that the 2015 Camaro Fest will be at Beech Bend Raceway. Henderson said the event could draw 1,000 or more cars.
***8220;Anytime you get 1,000 cars in Bowling Green, it***8217;s a big deal,***8221; Henderson said.
Camaro Fest is specifically for the sixth generation of Camaros, but it will draw all generations of the car, Henderson said.
The event will be Aug. 7-8, according to a release from Camaro5. Members of the Camaro5.com website created Camaro5Fest, the first of which was in 2010 in Valdosta, Ga., inspired by the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro. The fest was in Chandler, Ariz., in 2011; Indianapolis in 2012 and 2013; and Baytown, Texas, in 2014.
Camaro Fest will be the 12th major car show booked in Bowling Green for 2015, Henderson said in the meeting. The Tri-5 Chevy Show will follow the weekend after Camaro Fest and feature 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolets.
***8220;You***8217;re talking American muscle cars for two weekends in a row, so yay for us,***8221; Henderson said.
Camaro Fest will include drag racing, autocross, a car show and other social events.
General Motors will exhibit at the fest with notable executives and ***8220;Camaro personalities***8221; in attendance, according to the release.
Event sponsors will be available for consultations, sales and select onsite installs.
The release indicated more details about the event will follow in the coming months.
Camaro Fest is one of three new car shows coming to Bowling Green in 2015.

Just thought I would mention that several of us Central Illinois Camaro peeps have signed up for the Thursday 10am Corvette Plant Tour. Join us if you would like. My thought was to do the early tour and get back for the massive parade flowing into the Host Hotel Parking Lot and the shenanigans that go along with.
