I really appreciate this being added as an offical event. Vicky (organizer) will be thrilled to hear that as well. I hope we can get good weather and people make the trip down. Just so you know, this event is not where I live and an hour drive for me. So, like everyone else, I'll be cleaning my car after I arrive as well.

When it get's closer and I have a good number on people coming, I'll arrange for us to park together. There are several guys from Camaro5 Central Illinois group that attends this show as well so we have the potential of making a huge mark on this event.

Who else is coming down? I'm not planning to be down there by 9, but probably by 10-10:30. Will be going down I-55, anybody want to meet up and go down together? We can pick a meet spot off of 55, say around US30 in Joliet or so.

If you're interested in coming down the night before, the event has arranged a special rate at Hawthorn Suites which is located next door to the event. You have to call the motel to get the special rate of $99 @ 217-398-3400. They may say that it's past the date for the block of rooms but they will give you that rate if you ask for it. Even though I'm only an hour drive from this event, I just reserved a room this morning and am going to spend Friday night there at the motel so I can clean the car and hang out the night before. I know of one other C5G member (I will let him/her reveal their identity if they so choose) that is coming down the night before so would be cool to have some more of you join us for some Friday night fun. Downtown Champaign is very close for shenanigans if you so choose.

I talked with the organizer and we will get special parking for this event. They are excited for C5G to attend the show. I said to look for 15-20 5th Gen Camaros to show up, so please don't make me look bad. Let's dominate this thing!
