FYI: There was a kitchen fire at the Sprecher's restaurant in Lake Geneva this morning. I have been informed that they probably wont reopen for 3 weeks which would be after the date of our cruise. Stay tuned as I scramble for alternatives.

CRUISE UPDATE: As mentioned, there was a kitchen fire at the Lake Geneva Sprecher's Thursday morning and they will unfortunately not be open at the time of our cruise while they undergo repairs.

I have been able to secure space for lunch at Gino's East which is right next door to Sprecher's. Free parking will be provided still. There will be a salad and pizza buffet for us which includes coffee, tea, soda and water. There will also be a cash bar for those who wish to have an alcoholic beverage.

Unfortunately, as I don't have the same relationship with Gino's as with Sprecher's, the cost per person has risen a bit. But because of the circumstances Ginos is helping to keep the cost lower than normal. Instead of $12 per person it will now be $14 per person. As before, this cost includes the meal, tax and gratuity.

I will need to supply Gino's with a final head count by Friday 10/4 so if there are any changes please let me know. Anyone who hasn't joined yet is still welcome to. Last minute joiners are always welcome but if you can please sign up before Friday.

I apologize if this causes any inconvenience but I promise the day will still be "the tits".

So close to beating last years number of cars. The cruise count was 27. Can we beat it this year? Thanks to everyone who's signed up so far.

Ok...Beloit crew... Plan is to meet up Beloit Menards (2851 Milwaukee Rd) and head out between 8-815am... This is to make sure there is time for the tour prior to cruise and in case we run into any issues on the road. Being a sunday it should be fairly quiet.

This will be myself, Neko, Zip and Dreamin' and possibly a few from Monroe. Any other Rockford area cars that tag along, feel free to join us on the way over.
