Nothing I can say at this moment can describe the way I feel. Everything about the way it has all gone today will stick with me for the rest of my life. On the way back to Larry's driving his car with his son Ryley with me, behind a police escort with twenty other Camaros behind me, having a great conversation with Ryley was just so special. Makes me cherish every moment I have with my son . Hug your kids and tell them you love them everyday people .

What a great day.. for Ryley, his mom, the family and friends, the C5G club, and for myself. I have a new found respect for the club and for everyone envolved. Hats off my freinds. I hope going forward we can remember not only Larry but the great work his friends did today. Thanks for letting me be a part of this.

Gary, I cannot even imagine what must have been going through your mind. We never how much time we have on this Earth but we sure need to make the most of it with family and friends. I can still hear Larry talking to me the day of the Hooters cruise and telling me what he had been through that last year and just catching up with each other. I will miss him.

I was thinking a tribute shirt for Larry. Proceeds going to his family.

Now I have a connection for custom shirts but I don't want to step on toes with who we get the shirts from now.

Or maybe a 50/50 raffle and proceeds go to the family?

Any thoughts or ideas on this? I know when my dad passed away at 44 the financial situation was hard. My family is part of the Elks lodge and they donated the hall and was able to get donations for gifts and held a silent auction. Which really helped.

Still speechless, Christy loved that so many of us could make it and understood who couldn't, it was a wonderful service and a wonderful sendoff to a great friend that left us with so many great memories, just left us too early, you will be greatly missed Larry. They would like us to keep in touch and let them know when we have events coming up. Bill and Gary, what a wonderful job you did, Thank You

Today was bitter sweet to say the least. To see members come together like we did today really makes me proud to be part of this club. You could see how impressed Larry's friends and family were that we came together like that.

I will forever remember this day. Seeing and hearing the cars saluting Larry, and all the back to everyone grabbing a rag to clean up his car for him.

Bill and Gary, you guys really went above and beyond to arrange all of this. Tim, the amount of passion and care you expressed toward Larry's car and family too. I will forever have the image of the club cleaning up his car. Such a good thing that was done today and was glad I can be part of it. Very memorbable and impressive indeed.

*EDIT* - as a side note too, Larry had a very close friend that is part of the the chicagolandmustang.com club... if there is an event, i know with a little talking to we could increase attendance for the occasion.

Let's all remember Christy will always be part of our family now, if you are in her neighborhood or know you will be passing through, give her a call ! If you are going to something that you think her and Riley would be interested in, give her a call.
