My thoughts and prayers go to Larry's family. I remember talking to Larry at Barone's Pizza before I purchased my car. I asked him a million questions about his car. He was such a really nice guy.
Unfortunately I will be heading to the Sturgis Camaro Rally that day and I will not be able to attend, so please pass on my condolences.

Never met him but sorry to hear this.

Best wishes Freddy. My younger sister had stage two breast cancer recently and went through it all and it's in remissions. Best thoughts!

Here is updated information regarding Larry.

                LAWRENCE ALAN BURICH
Lawrence Alan Burich, “Larry”, age 49, a resident of Plainfield, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his home with his cherished family, friends and neighbors at his side. He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on January 5, 1964.

Larry is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Christine, nee Wright; his devoted son, Ryley Richard Burich; his siblings, Linda (Thomas) Hassler of Naperville, IL, Robert (Kristin) Burich of Roseville, MN, Kathleen (the late Frank) Navarrete of Scottsdale, AZ; his parents-in-law, William and Kathleen Wright of Lansing, MI; his sister-in-law, Stacey (Scott) Randall of Escanaba, MI; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Janet Burich.

Larry earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University. He began his career as an Applications Engineer with Lovejoy, Inc. in Downers Grove. Currently, he was Vice President of Operations at CENTA Corporation, an innovative leader in marine power technology located in Aurora. He had many passions throughout his life. He excelled playing blackjack and poker and was a member of the same bowling league for many years. He accomplished several perfect games. He always had a passion for cars, especially his 2010 Supercharged ZL575 Chevrolet Camaro SS, and was a member of the C5G Camaro Club. Larry and Christy’s travels included Germany, Costa Rica, Italy, Greece and Turkey. On a magical night in Rome he proposed to the love of his life at the Trevi Fountain. Larry’s charisma was both a wonder to observe and a gift to appreciate. With it, he created an extensive and enviable network of loving friends from early childhood, through high school, college and business years. Larry introduced many friends to each other, at least one of which ended in marriage. Above all else, Larry was a devoted father. He was always there supporting his son at his Galaxy Soccer Club games, or sharing in their love of technology or just sitting and watching their Blackhawks win. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Larry’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 10:30 AM at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 AM prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will be private.
