Saturday, February 23rd - Indoor Go Kart Racing!!!!!!

Tired of being stuck inside? Put your helmet on and let's go racing. This event will be held at Chicago Indoor Racing in Addison. It is a grand prix race which will include 3 heat races consisting of 20 laps a piece, and a final championship race which will also be 20 laps. The details such as cost time and date are listed below.

Please ask to be added to the list as I gave them a heads up and reserved 15 spots. If we have more than 15, no problem. The more the merrier.

Date: Saturday February 23rd 2013
Time: 6:30pm (prep for race) Racing starts at 7:00pm
Place: Chicago Indoor Racing Addison, IL (address to follow)
Cost: $70 a person (includes four 20 lap races.)

Bummer, I was so wanting to do this. Right now, it looks like I will be in Dallas that week for work so I'm going to say I won't be able to get away on that Saturday. If something changes, I'll let you know.

Does he have driver's license? There's few different scenarios listed on their website-

Drivers aged 16 to 17 may race if they have a parental waiver completed and on file, a valid state issued Driver’s License (permits not accepted), and a parent racing with them. --

You will likely need to check with them to see if a grandparent will suffice instead of a parent

Junior Drivers between the ages of 7 and 17 (height requirement of 50 inches) may only race during private events with restricted racing, or once they have successfully completed our two day Junior Driving School, and only at pre-set junior racing times or as a part of pre-scheduled junior racing events.
