That's a bad attitude. You shouldn't point out that no one can understand that post. Jokes are not allowed around here.
Bill get a sense of humor, you're always trying to start drama. Tech at a car show, i was making light of that,I am sorry for you if you're offended. I've never once said the corvette is bills gift to mankind. If I hate camaros so much why is one in my garage? I could have traded it in when I picked up the vette if I hate it so much. Just keep making things up and maybe they will turn into truth someday.
I suggest you lead the charge to have me banished from c5g. Just ask around, I'm a really bad guy who hates camaros, you know it all already. It should be easy, all your c5g members were shunning me in Morris last night because I inflicted some levity on this site. Your co-chairs will approve this instantly, surely they'll be on your side.
Very sorry, you must have me confused with someone else, read any of my posts and you will see I like levity, I try some in almost everything I say on the site, and I hate Drama.
Learn the difference between insulting people and levity and I too will appreciate your comments. i just prefer positive comments on the website whenever possible, no need to insult members for their choices of what they do or don't do to their cars. Who knows, one day I may buy a mustang and the fun will really begin.
by the way, the corvette is a nice car, I almost bought one, just not like yours, it doesnt have leds on it ,Lol
Sorry, I don't comment on every post, I am not a moderator, that's not my job.
Tech at a Chevrolet dealership car show, yep I would expect that, they are hosting a car show, I would expect they would want to introduce us to their Service department and maybe show us how they can help us with our needs, or answer any questions we had about our autos, didn't think that was out of the ordinary at all .
OK no pissing matches on the forums... if you guys want to go back an forth pm each other

I am going out on a limb and saying he's upset that he came in 3rd behind a car that was "transformed" into a bumblebee vs how he ordered his that way. And the wings are in reference to his latest mod he is getting installed... lambo doors.
sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.
These car shows aren't really about the cars. They are charity events to solicit donations for those less fortunate than ourselves. Sure there are awards, trophies and trinkets handed out, but those are really more of a small token of thanks for helping to gather crowds with cool cars and entertainment. That's why a lot of the fluff, stuff, time and food are donated. It's to help maximize the dollar amount going to those that truly need it and when present, allows them a distraction from the pains of their life.

Couldn't have said it better Randy . It's nice when you get recognized for your hard work an efforts but I certainly don't go to shows expecting to win anything . I was there to see fellow club members and was able to drive my Vette to a show . Big shocker when they called "glen wilmouth " for my car for second place . I really don't consider either of my cars "show worthy" . They are "nice" drivers. Its all about friends getting together, swapping stories and having fun.

Yup.. I've been to a lot of shows (well, with the Camaro) and towards the end when I really had it modded out, I'll admit that it stung not ever really winning anything -- but, you have to remind yourself why you're there and why you're showing. Sure it's nice to get recognized. It's nice to have stuff for the wall, bragging rights, etc... but, the underlying foundation for a lot of these is to get people together for a worthy cause to help pool resources to help ease the suffering of others. I've even offered to some of the kids (with the Camaro) a donut spin around the parking lot, the option to rev the motor, sit in the car, etc. For some, it's likely the only times they'll get to experience such things and that's truly a shame. For we go through life wishing we had more power, more mods, a different color, "to beat that guy to the finish", come in first in class, etc.
They just want to be healthy and have more time to spend with their friends and family.
It really helps keep things in perspective for me.
