Unless we get members to come back, I'm afraid that we won't have enough to keep the club participation award in our hands. The issues that we have had to deal with has unfortunately hurt our numbers at most all events. I, for one don't yet know if I can make it, Sundays are tough in the fall. If we want to be seen as a club moving in the right direction, we need to get our members back and involved.

Thank you for someone else besides me admitting to this. I have seen it coming for quite a while. Many membes have come up to me over the past year, and asked what is going on with the Club. I have brought this up to the Board Members a number of times. All I keep hearing is that the numbers are going up and not too worry. Numbers are not the only thing that counts unless you are running a business. NO PROGRAM= NO INVOLVEMENT. We Are A Car Club Lets Start Being One.

We've got a ways to go, but we do have things in the works for the rest of the fall/winter. The bigger issue is overcoming the effects of the arguments and drama that had turned a lot of members off. Hopefully they can see that we are trying to move past that and get back to the business of enjoying our cars, and each other

The events that I have been to all seemed to have the usual turnout. As I recall, the last Hooters event was our biggest ever there.

The last Hooters meet was indeed good... subsequent events have been a bit lower, as of late. Some of that can be attributed in the lower number of social events that we have all been discussing, but not saying that nobody is showing up.

This is a club event as well as a car show. I don't do very many shows any more, but I will be doing this one. Just wash your car and come out to represent the club. Who cares if you don't think your car is a show car. This show is pretty awesome.

I'll put my name in and will prepay. However, I'll also go on record saying that I may have to bail out when the day gets here. Any future plans I make are dependant on my Dad's health. I know that story is getting old, but that's the way my life is right now. I don't like it either, but hey, you have to take care of your family. I'll make every effort to be there.

fastfreddie, you can pay on the day of the show, it just costs like 5 bucks more. And don't apologize for your fathers health issues. Many of us who still have parents are or will probably go through the same with ours. Keep your chin up and take care of Dad first!
Also-
I have to agree with Blackhawk... All I have on my Camaro is an exhaust... It's more about getting to see club friends, or meeting new club members and seeing all of the awesome cars! Just a good time in general! :-)
