So for everyone that I didn't get to inform before I left I snapped my output shaft.
After looking at it on the lift it was a clean break right near where it sticks out of the trans.
Soooo what are the possibilities of Chevy covering it under warranty :-/

Xjer. It's a known issue with early vin 2010 cars. The warranty thing depends on the dealer. See if Bubbles can point you in the right direction.Comment
